Chynna Ortaleza has received a first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

In a recent Instagram post, the actress and mother of two said she got injected with the Sinovac vaccine in Quezon City.

Ortaleza also shared in an interview with that she falls under the vaccination campaign’s A3 category due to her asthma.

According to her post, Chynna was able to complete the entire vaccination process in just one hour.

She did this through the Batasan National High School Vaccine Site, and booking her appointment through the EzConsult app.

“Thank you to my physicians for patiently answering all my questions. And also educating & encouraging me about Covid-19 Vaccination & why I had to get jabbed now & not later,” Chynna wrote.

Tips for vaccination day

Chynna also shared several useful tips for those planning to get vaccinated.

The first is to make sure you’ve eaten and gone to the toilet before your appointment.

Another is to wear a proper mask with a face shield, comfortable clothes you can easily roll up, and keeping your documents in order inside a plastic envelope so you can easily sanitize.

Chynna also reminded the public to bring their own pen, alcohol and water with a straw to avoid removing their masks.

“Pila po tayo ng maayos dahil napaka efficient naman po ng systema sa loob at lahat ng naka schedule ay hindi papabayaan, (Please line up properly because the system is very efficient and the schedules are not overlooked),” she added.

As for those who are planning to get their second dose with some help from the EzConsult app, Chynna said you won’t have to worry because the second dose would be “reserved” and that the staff is expected to inform you about the details of your next appointment.

“Also, please do not be discouraged if currently mahirap po makakuha ng appointment,” Chynna added.

“You can also opt for Barangay assisted booking. Please call your Kagawad or Captain for questions. Tiwala lang po! Believe na we will all be vaccinated soon,” she said. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
